Everyone loves chili! Zimkor employees battled it out in the first Annual Zimkor Chili Cook-Off. Employee participation was high with 70% of Zimkor’s employees casting a ballet for their 1st, 2nd, & 3rd favorite chilies. The winner, Martine Estrada, with a “Green Chili”, received $100 cash, and will have his name memorialized on the “Champion Chili Pot” displayed in the company’s lobby. Second place – and $75 in prize money – went to Willie Clark, with an “Italian Sausage Red Chili.” Third place went to George Wortman, with a “Green Chili”; George won $50. Sixteen (16) pots of chili were entered, 9 Red, 5 Green, 1 Vegetarian and 1 White. Friendly competition, great food, and lots of fun made this an enjoyable company event.
